The Holi Sri Yantra, also known as the Sri Chakra, is a sacred symbol in the Hindu Tantric tradition. It consists of nine interlocking triangles of varying sizes, forming a complex and powerful mandala. The upward-pointing triangles represent Shiva, the masculine principle, while the downward-pointing ones symbolize Shakti, the divine feminine energy also depicted in the Yoni Yantra Mandala.

Surrounding the central diagram are lotus petals, which symbolize the heart — the seat of the Self. When the heart opens, it brings about deeper understanding and inner awareness. Beyond the lotus lies a square frame with gates on each side, symbolizing the material world as perceived through the senses. These gates point inward, signifying the transition from the external, physical realm to the inner, spiritual dimension.

This ancient symbol also holds profound cosmological meaning. The geometry of the Sri Yantra, particularly its triangular pattern, is aligned with the principles of the Golden Ratio — a mathematical proportion found throughout nature and the cosmos. The Sri Yantra visually represents the expansion of the universe from its central point and illustrates the harmonious union of masculine and feminine energies.
