Yin-Yang Mantra Mandala Thangka

The Yin Yang symbol beautifully represents the concept of duality—two opposing forces continuously flowing into one another, each containing the seed of the other. This dynamic balance reflects the natural harmony of life and the universe.

In this harmonious flow, the sacred mantra “Om Mani Padme Hum” echoes, invoking the blessings of Avalokiteshvara, the Bodhisattva of Compassion, also known as the Goddess of Mercy.

One of the most well-known mantras in Buddhism, Om Mani Padme Hum consists of six powerful syllables believed to purify and bless both heart and mind. As the Dalai Lama explains:
“Thus the six syllables, Om Mani Padme Hum, mean that in dependence on the practice of a path which is an indivisible union of method and wisdom, you can transform your impure body, speech, and mind into the pure exalted body, speech, and mind of a Buddha.”
